Gunter Land Services was formed in 2007 to provide project management services for oil, gas and pipeline operations in the Barnett Shale Play, and we have started making the transition into alternative energies, specifically Wind energy. We have performed various land and management services in the Barnett Shale of North Texas, Marcellus Shale of Pennsylvania, the Bossier, Consolidated Fields and Haynesville Shale in East Texas and NW Louisiana, the Eagleford Shale in South Texas as well as Northern Colorado. GLS doesn’t promise you the moon by claiming an inexhaustible number of highly trained, qualified crews for this simple reason: There aren’t that many truly qualified landmen out there; in fact, there are relatively few…but GLS has managed to kidnap a few and that’s why our crews average 15 years industry experience each and our senior staff offers in excess of 55 years of combined experience in landwork. GLS places a higher priority on proven proficiency, performance and professionalism than a PLM degree or any certification. That’s our signature and stock in trade; it’s what sets us apart.
